On our street we do remove our vehicles for the most part, yet the independent contractors can’t seem to get any closer then 3′ to the curb in most sections. I even clean enough of the street in front of my house so that they can see the curb and still the same old thing. It wouldn’t be bad but the local school is in the middle of construction so parking is limited already since they are parking on our street. Needless to say there is a lane only large enough for one car to safely pass after the plows have done their job.
