URGENT: Please use extreme caution while driving, as light snow has left roadways very icy today. There have been many vehicles sliding off the road just this morning. The major highways are clear, but motorists will find slippery conditions on many local streets. Forecasters said snow is likely to return across the region this morning. The National Weather Service said another inch of snow is possible, especially around the Route 195 corridor.
