Hundreds Run In 2nd Annual ‘Miles For Matlosz’

PHOTOS & VIDEO [UPDATED 11:50PM] Hundreds of runners this evening took part in the second annual Miles For Matlosz event at Lake Carsaljo. The event – organized by the PBA Local 71 – memorialized the three Lakewood Police Officers killed in the line of duty

About 50 runners took part in the first one mile ‘Fun Run’, and about 200 took part in the long five mile run around the lake.

The event was attended by hundreds of others, as well as by Mayor Menashe Miller and Senator Bob Singer.

  1. I was at this event. I was curious if any of the orthodox community took part in the run. I did not see any but I didn’t have a great view from my post
