Hundreds of JCP&L customers in senior development without power

Hundreds from the senior community are without electricity this evening.

According to JCP&L, nearly 400 are without power in the Leisure Village area.

EMS personnel are on scene to assist those in need.

The cause of the outage is unknown.

Power is expected to be restored by approximately 1 am.

Thanks for your post advising of the power outage to residents of Leisure Village East who may not have been affected by the power outage.. The outage last two hours and power was restored at midnight with no lasting effects as far as I know.
