VIDEO: Hundreds of Lakewood Cheder boys and their parents marched up Clifton Avenue yesterday, ahead of their Chumash Mesiba. The crowd marched from the Cheder School on 9th Street to the Bais Faiga Hall, where the proud boys accepted their first Chumash following their first year of Learning Chumash.

This is so special!! The boys will remember this for the rest of their lives!
This is ok, but we complained about the puerto rican parade…..bet this wont be published
perhaps they had a permit…
2-Stop spreading your hate here. Go to the app for that. You’re comparing a beautiful organized event to a bunch of (moderated) ridng wildly and loudly down occupied roads in a dangerous manner??? you need help mr.
cant wait to see this next year in the new building!! mazel tov!
The excitement should hold up for many years to come!
There was plenty of hate going around with the comments about the Portugal parade. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander!! Did it ever occur to you that YOUR parade might offend others? Don’t throw stones unless you’re willing to have them thrown back at you. Just live and let live. OK sensors, time to hit the delete button!!!!
Wow beautiful keep up the good work!
I’m pretty sure I had a chumash party as a kid, too. I certainly don’t remember it.

The school did indeed have a permit. Organized and arranged by two very dedicated askunim Meir Lichtenstein and Menashe Miller.
It was very nice to see the police motorcycles escort the children down the street along with the crossing guards along the route…keeping everyone safe!
