Howell Police Chief: Report Bias Incidents to Authorities

Howell Police Chief John Storrow is reminding residents to report bias incidents to authorities, after a swastika was found etched into a table at a local park.

Park-goers found the swastika which appeared to be burned onto a table at Echo Lake Park in Howell on Thursday, and sent us the attached picture.

”We encourage you to immediately report such incidents to police so we can track them and properly investigate them,” Howell Police Chief John Storrow told TLS.

The week prior, anti-Semitic writings were also found at the Chai Lifeline construction site in Jackson, as well as in Lakewood, though there’s no indication the incidents are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to phone the Howell Police Department.
