The US House of Representatives voted 240-187 to adopt a resolution condemning President Trump for a series of tweets he sent in which he told colored women of Congress to “go back” to where they came from.
The resolution, which “strongly condemns President Donald Trump’s racist comments that have legitimized and increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color” was passed largely on party lines. Four Republicans and one independent (former Republican Justin Amash) voted in favor of the resolution.
Besides for the resolution, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) plans to introduce articles of impeachment Tuesday evening in an attempt to force a vote on the issue, which Speaker Nancy Pelosi strongly opposes.
Earlier on Tuesday, President Trump defended his tweets, saying they weren’t racist and that he doesn’t have a “racist bone” in his body.

Please dont listen and, certainly, dont “Chap Hispailus” from this silly resolution. What you said was not racist; you said they should go back, help their old countries and then come back to USA. That is NOT racist. You’re doing an amazing, amazing job on many fronts and the dems cant handle. Keep going strong, doing what you know is right and don’t let anyone stop you.

Three of the four congresswomen were born in the United States.
So, where should they go? All are American citizens. One was born in Somalia & became an American citizen. Since President Trump was very critical of President Obama, maybe, he should have left for Slovenia or Scotland, his mother’s place of birth.
Where should they go? They should go straight to h–l. They should not pass GO and they should not collect $200.

Trump botched this one up! The Dems were fighting among themselves and the Republicans were enjoying the show. Then Trump ruined it by tweeting those stupid and nonsensical remarks. How is it that a president who has good policies can act so moronic all the time?
well at least now before they continue preaching their hate they will think twice because they see the president is getting involved. until now no one relevant enough for them spoke against them and they started getting used to the fact that they can say whatever they want without any consequences, and you’d be surprised how many fools actually listen to them. so of coarse he should say something. and however he would have said it the democrats would have twisted it to fit their agenda

While they may have been born in the United States, those three apparently have been radicalized by other countries. I don’t think it’s unfair for President Trump to ask them to go to the countries that adopted and radicalized them.
Why do Trump supporters care that he is called a racist or that he is a racist ? No need to defend his tweet.
He has done so many racist things in the past that it obviously doesn’t make a bit of difference to them.
In fact, they love him because is a racist.

A country is not a race. Telling someone to go back where they came from bc they spew vile hatred of our country and they should be see how much worse it is where they came from is not racist. Even if the person saying it happens to be “from color”. It just so happens that the squad is women of color. Does that make the squad themselves racist?
