VIDEO: It’s not every day you see a horse getting pulled over. A horse-rider – known around Lakewood – was stopped and questioned by police today after they received complaints from neighbors about a horse riding around near their homes and scaring some children.
It turns out the rider was not doing anything illegal.
An officer noted that in fact the horse, according to State laws, would take precedence to vehicles and drivers are required to yield to horses riding on the street.
Both the rider and horse, were not ticketed. TLS-60/TLS-CCP.

I think it’s so cool that there’s a guy who not only owns a horse but shows it off to lakewood. As long as nothing illegal is happening then it’s no problem. Horses are our friends and one of my fave animals.
I imagine that this guy and his horse has a very special connection to each other and I think that’s a beautiful thing. We can learn a lot from horses.
There ought to be more horses and less cars in Lakewood, He’s welcome to ride down my block any time! (Is hay cheaper than gas?)

I have met this man and hors before… He is the sweetest horse and is not at all frightening!!! People are really ridiculous!!!!!
