Homeowner Offers $750 For Finding Him A Tenant

The rental and real estate market in Lakewood is slow, but who knew it was this slow. A homeowner sent out a flyer offering $750 to whoever can find him a tenant for his apartment. The apartment, located in Sterling Forest, is listed as a 2 bedroom apartment, a fully tiled bathroom, and fresh and new.

If you’d like to try for the $750, (or if you’re in need of an apartment) you can call 718-360-7414.

  1. Thats why people hire real estate agents, because its a service that sometimes a professional can supply where an individual may not have the resources.

although there is no standard price – i’ve seen flat prices (i.e. the 750 or 500) or 1 month rent.

    Good luck

  2. Yeah, I see guys getting very creative. One guy was offering 750 to find him a tenant another person had this really funny flier with a guy upside down. But the most hilarious thing was, someone was offering kugel to move in – now that takes the kugel…umm the cake.

  3. What about lowering the price? That always helps! If you agree to rent it for $350, I’m sure you’ll find someone.

Masa Umatan has about 200 apartments advertised for rent.

  4. It is a matter of the neighborhood, choice of shuls etc that makes it in demand. In my area there is zero availibility whereas in other neighborhoods there may be quite a few.

  5. With the slowdown in new construction and re-sales and the supposed major influx of new couples you would think that rentals would be in high demand. 4omething is not adding up, but what is it?

  6. the latest message from HASHEM of todays situation with the economy is:

Make aliya now to Israel & go with fortune, Wait & soon thousands will be going cause there will be no money left & the economy is better in Israel DON’T WAIT, GO NOW.

  7. I know the neighberhood very nice people there is ashkenazim sefaredim chasidim its just this real beautiful place to live !!!!

    and you get 750.00

what more can you ask for!!!

    its just gevaldig!!!!!

  8. There was always young couples looking for places but now there is so many developments w/ so many apartments that it is flooded. Location and the amenities are king. Townhouses shtipped together are not ideal for families.

When you consider buying down the 9 out there dont expect to have tenants when there are more ideal locations available, devlopments with grass and a quick drive to yeshiva.

    I wish everyone much hatzlacha!
