A hit and run suspect driving a stolen vehicle was apprehended in Lakewood this afternoon, as first reported on TLS Status.
The incident started around 2:00 PM when the suspect reportedly crashed on County Line Road and fled the scene before crashing again on Hope Chapel.
The driver then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, running through backyards.
In the process, the suspect reportedly assaulted at least one resident before being tackled by police. He was taken into custody.
