“Excuse me sir-what are you doing in my house”? That’s what an elderly woman from the Country Place asked a black man whom she found in her dining room this morning. “I’m looking for my grandma” he said and then ran out of the house. However, according to the Police report, video surveillance shows otherwise. The man had broken into her home through the back sliding door and had gone in and out a few times until he was spotted. Lakewood Police and CIU are investigating the incident. A TLS reporter spoke with Sgt. McGilloway from the Police Department who refused to comment on the story. (TLS)
