  1. I wouldn’t be surprised, if the sewer drain on the street is completely stuffed with branches, used soda cans, beer bottles, boards from construction, cement pieces, bricks and etc. and etc..

  2. Please don’t use public funds to correct insufficient oversight. The planning board should split the cost with the contractor and engineer from their own pocket and the engineer should be disqualified from working in Lakewood in the future.

  3. The Township installed a shallow drain to correct the issue, but it’s the only one at the end of a sloping, long block. Otherwise, each house in the area has their own septic/ well without street drains.
    Whenever there is a significant amount of rain in the area, water pools to the lowest points.

  4. Do the builders make money on drainage? No. Are the builders affected by it? No. Did the planning and zoning officials get their “Present” from the builder? Yes. So why are you surprised?
