So why the sudden bad service in Lakewood?
Verizon’s Public Relations Manager tells TLS it appears to be due to upgrades currently being done in the area.
“We have been working on hardware upgrades at a local cell site that may have impacted capacity for some users this week,” Weissman says. “We anticipate the work to be completed before the weekend.”
He added, “The upgrades are part of our ongoing effort to improve coverage and capacity on our 4G LTE network in the Lakewood area.”
