Help Save A Lakewood Family

A local family, one that served for years as the first stop for countless tzedakah and chesed initiatives is in desperate need of our help. For decades, this mishpacha were the quintessential gomlei chasadim who gave everything of themselves to help suffering members of klal Yisroel. But now they need our help, and we cannot turn them away.

Several years ago, the head of the household learned of a terrible tzaar that an individual was going through and committed to putting their abilities and resources to good use. Putting literally every penny of his fortune on the line, he and the entire family sprang into action, taking dramatic, selfless steps to assist this struggling yid and help get his life back together.

The actions taken by this wonderful family – wonderful and valiant as they were – ultimately backfired and they lost everything – their home, their income, and their peace of mind. Once proud philanthropists to whom everyone turned to for help, they are now utterly destitute, relying on others to pay for their rent and food.

We cannot stand aside and allow this family to continue suffering a moment longer. They did so much for our community, we now must do for them. They allowed their entire fortune to be put at risk for no reason other than to help a fellow yid; the least we can do for them is donate generously and help them get back on their feet.
