  1. The seforim say, what was the issue with Amon & Moav that they didn’t bring us out food and water (and are therefore assur to be megayer); we had the Be’er?!
    The answer is that it is the right middos to do, and since they didn’t, it reflects they’re negative middos (they didn’t know we had provisions). Thus, bringing out warm drinks; even if the employee has his own, reflects good middos!!!
