HEART Team Members Fitted With Bullet Proof Vests & Helmets As They Enter War Zone; Rockets, Air Strikes Continue

PHOTOS: Immediately upon arriving to Eretz Yisroel, the HEART Team members were briefed, fitted with bullet-proof vests and helmets and practiced donning WMD gear and masks. They then Davened and quickly ate the Friday night Seudah. There was no time for sleep.

The HEART Team ALPHA – consisting of 10 members from the US and 4 members from Europe, were divided into three groups and deployed to MDA stations in Sderot, Netivot and Ofakim.

“Teams are BH all safe after an exhaustive weekend of running on many calls, running to the shelter often multiple times each hour and transporting sick and wounded civilians and soldiers to Seroka Trauma Center”, a Team member tells TLS.

Over Shabbos, the IDF conducted dozens more targeted air strikes over Gaza, as nearly 200 more rockets were fired into Israel. Many of them were shot down by the Iron Dome. The strikes killed dozens of terrorists, and damaged terrorist infrastructure.

Since the start of the current crisis which began about days ago, over 700 rockets have been fired into Israel, with several of those reaching as far as Tel Aviv and Yerushalayim.

There are no reports of civilian casualties over Shabbos. TLS.
