Hatzolah Forms ‘Vaad Harabonim’

PHOTO: In order to address the growing needs of Hatzolah and the community, Hatzolah of Lakewood this evening formed a ‘Vaad Harabonim’. The Vaad Harabonim, consisting of Horav Shmuel Meir Katz, Horav Simcha Bunim Cohen, Horav Shlomo Gissinger and Horav Avrohom Spitzer, “will be guiding Hatzolah on all matters of Halacha and Hashkafa”, a Hatzolah Vaad member tells TLS.

The Hatozlah Vaad member says the Rabbonim will also be able to address any of the community’s concerns pertaining to Hatzolah.

“The current infrastructure of Hatzolah operations will continue”, the member says.

The official induction was held at Hatzolah’s Heathwood garage and attended by all Hatzolah members. TLS.

  1. A member told me Rav Moshe Rotberg spoke there and he is involved with the vaad and is still giving the shiurim. Also why does every story about Hatzolah bring out the y not me crowd? Maybe state your name and let the public decide if u r an asset?

TLS keep up the great work!!

  2. glad to hear about these psitive changes!! I think the shiurim given to members by reb moshe is a tremendous asset to both the members and the community.

  3. What a kiddush hashem. I believe this is one small step for hatzolah and one giant leap for us! May hashem bless all the devoted members as well R’ Moshe for all your selfless work. You are all much appreciated.

  4. Can someone explain why all these stories and news about hatzolah. all we should now is chas veshalom if we need them they are here for us. why the need to continuously post inside stories on the organizational level weather its a appointment of a new CEO, or a New Vaad harabanim?
these are internal things and should be kept that way.
