The Lakewood community, along the entire Olam Hatorahacross the United States, looks forward with anticipation to the upcoming visit of one of the venerated ziknei roshei hayeshiva, Hagaon Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a.

Once again, the Rosh Hayeshiva has taken on this arduous journey as part of his role in carrying the staggering financial budget of Yeshivas Slabodka.

In past years, the Lakewood Kehilla, where the Rosh Hayeshiva spends most of his time while in America, has been blessed by the Rosh Hayeshiva’s presence. Moreover, with his unassuming approachability, Reb Moshe Hillel has been a wellspring of Da’as Torah, generously offering his valuable time and illuminating hadracha to the countless petitioners who sought him out.

In consideration of the exhaustive physical toll these trips, this year’s visit will be a short and abbreviated stay and private meetings with the Rosh Hayeshiva will be extremely limited. The highlight of the trip will be the much-anticipated ChelkeinuB’Sorasecha event – a full-day Yarchei Kallah for talmidim of Yeshiva Slabodka – at the Grand Marquis Conference Center, where the Rosh Hayeshiva will deliver the main shiur on the Sugya D’kallah. The Yarchei Kallah will culminate with a grand Dinner to generate critical support for Yeshiva.
