Car slams into Arkady’s Auto Body shop on Rt. 9 in Toms River [PHOTOS]

A driver was injured after slamming into a building in Toms River today.

The accident happened shortly before 11:00 AM when the driver lost control, slamming into Arkady’s Auto Body shop, located just south of Lakewood on Route 9.

The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by Toms River EMS to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The building sustained significant damage.
