Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, has expanded its agreement with Amerigroup, effective April 1, TLS has learned.
This extended relationship provides Amerigroup’s Medicaid product members access to Hackensack Meridian’s 18 hospitals, home care services, most Hackensack Meridian physician practices and more than 500 patient care locations throughout New Jersey.

Young, president of Population Health, Hackensack Meridian Health. “We know how important it is for individuals to receive preventive, routine care to maintain their well-being. This partnership will help ensure Amerigroup’s members have access to that care.”
This expanded agreement now includes all Hackensack Meridian hospitals, including its four hospitals in the southern half of New Jersey, including; Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital in Neptune, Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, Southern Ocean University Medical Center in Manahawkin and Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.
