Need a Blackberry for your e-mails and business, but don’t need an Internet browser? Guard Your Eyes dot org is offering to lock your Internet browser on your phone, which gives only GYE your password for the browser, thereby making it inaccessible to the users.
The Blackberry will still contain all the conveniences of the Blackberry, but without the Internet access, GYE says.

“seems rediculous” does seem a bit rediculous. If seeing the wrong things on the internet will do the same kind of damage as eating a few too many cookies than you would have an excellent point. However, it seems like you ate a bit too many “cookies” and you therefore you fail to make the proper distinction.
A filter would be nicer I still want TLS etc.

I cant function without internet. had a gr8 idea, k9 lockes my internet access all day besides for two hours, I get everything done at home but dont waste my life online…., do it toooo!

To seems ridiculous: Intriguing analogy you choose, I wonder if a quick check of you browsers cookies would explain how your guilt seems to have distorted your ability to see basic logic. We all know that questions have answers, answers have no answers.
FYI, see Ohr Hachayim Hakodosh on the posuk “K’maaseh eretz mitzrayim lo saaseh”, I believe that it is in Vayikroh 18. I don’t see any mention of cookies there…….
