What does this “private” business have to do with the township and lpd? Is it a township bank or a private bank? Our elected officials should be in their offices working for us. We elected them to get results- not spend every other day smiling for the local news !!!
If this is a private bank why is LPD there. Speak about spending money. At least it is a good tax money maker. Or is it going to be labeled a school/bank and be off the tax rolls.
When a bank comes to town, it’s good for the town. It brings much needed revenue. This is the town at work!!

I think this town has enough banks! Two Chase branches within 200 feet…. I doubt this “heimishe” bank will be able to compete with the big banks. I rather use a big bank with billions in assets than some local start up. I can already see how it will work- free chulent with any deposit on thursdays.

I could not agree more with you guys.they should be driving around lakewood figuring out how to take down the signs that have me going around in circles no right here no left there or watching the gang members and calling cops or figuring out which streets can use a good cleaning.next year we need an alternative candidate guys.
Reaching out to local business and growing the tax base IS a primary responsibilty of the committeemen.

This is not another bank branch, it’s their corporate headquarters. It means dozens (maybe even hundreds) of new office jobs for the town, and as such the township officials are doing their job by promoting it.
Herb (Pres and CEO) and Abe (Chairman) are the most talented banking team I have ever seen and worked with, and I have been around the block, LOL! Trust me this is a huge boost for Lakewood and NJ now that they are back in charge! They employ many people and truly care, yes actually CARE about their customers!!! Best of luck and Gods Speed to First Commerce Bank. You will have my accounts, loans, referrals etc.!!!!
