Earlier today, Governor Phil Murphy, Senator Bob Menendez, and Colonel Patrick Callahan toured the Field Medical Station being built at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J.
Guided by New Jersey State Police Sergeant First Class Marc Pellegrino and representives from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Governor Murphy, Senator Menendez, and Colonel Callahan got a first-hand look at the 250 bed facility, which will provide temporary holding and low acuity care for non-COVID-19 patients.
Personnel from the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management have been working tirelessly with members of the New Jersey Department of Health, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and Meadowlands Exposition Center to get the medical station operational.
