At a fundraiser this morning, Dovid Egert approached Governor Corzine and told him about his upcoming biking trip/fundraiser for Chai Lifeline. Governor Corzine immediately sponsored $2 per mile-totalling a $270 dollar donation for the 135 mile trip. As seen in an exclusive video here on TLS, Dovid Egert will be biking tomorrow from Lakewood to Camp Simcha in Glen Spey NY, in an effort to raise funds for the cancer patients of Chai Lifeline of Lakewood. Dovid will be leaving at 9:00 a.m from the main Chai Lifeline office, located at 106 Clifton Ave. Chai Lifeline Director, R’ Sruli Fried told TLS, that all are welcomed to attend the event to say goodbye to Dovid as he embarks on the long trip.
