Gov. Signs Executive Order For Moment of Silence Friday Morning

“I ask all New Jerseyans to join me in a moment of silence tomorrow at 9:30am to honor the victims of the senseless tragedy in Newtown, CT.” the Governor said today.

The Governorn signed an executive order for the moment of silence, which comes exactly one week after the massacre.

LHS students today, including my own, remained silent and stopped all activity during the moment of silence. Not a sound was heard in the building for about 15 seconds.
