Gov. Orders All State Building Flags Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Senator Lautenberg

The Governor has ordered the lowering of all State building flags to half-staff on Wednesday, June 5, to honor the service and contributions of United States Senator Frank R. Lautenberg.

Lautenberg who was born in Paterson, graduated from Nutley High School and served in the United States Army Signal Corps from 1942 to 1946.

First elected to the United States Senate in 1982, Senator Lautenberg was the last serving World War II veteran in the Senate and “will be remembered as a passionate public servant, dedicated to enriching the lives of the people of the State of New Jersey.”

  1. We need to change Christie’s name to “Chris half-staff Christie” every 5 minutes he calls for half staff Mr. Christie if you give that honor to everyone then noone has that honor
