Gov. Murphy Urges Senate to Pass “Respect for (To’eiva) Marriage Act”

The Governor released the following statement today:

“I urge the U.S. Senate to join the House of Representatives in standing on the right side of history by passing the Respect for Marriage Act and ensuring all loving couples can have their marriages fully protected under federal law. While we are proud to have codified the right to same-sex marriage in New Jersey, we can no longer tolerate leaving fundamental rights, including the right to marry, up for grabs with a right-wing majority on the Supreme Court intent on rolling back decades of progress. The time to act is now.”

Wow! Our friends in the vaad must be really proud today of their choice for governor. So nice to know that the leaders of our frum community are so “progressive”. Make no mistake about it, if we aren’t firmly against this deviance, we will ח”ו need to accept in our communities sooner or later. Thank you vaad

Even if we are firmly against this deviance, the chances are equal that we will need to accept this in our communities. Makes no difference

The Torah dictates what we accept. If you think otherwise, then you are not part of the community

So you are saying, even if we aren’t firmly against the secular law recognizing same gender marriage, we still won’t accept it.
So this entire law is not our problem, and someone who thinks it is, is not part of our community.

Got it

You seem to be uninformed that the “other candidate”, Cittarelli, had come out and EXPLICITLY stated that he “supports — Marriage”.

So, as I stated then, “Curb your indignition”.

This is much worse that ‘just’ to’eva. this is to’eva on steroids. “Codifying” Perversion is much worse than “practicing” perversion. One of the three Merits of Bnei Noach are (was?) that they do not codify this perversion with a kesuva, see Chullin 92B (and first Rashi on daf).
Can someone explain to me why observant Jews voting for such a person is not a chillul Hashem?

and by the way, this idea of Murphy’s law is much more frustrating than the usual “Murphy’s Law”

One pro To’eiva activist lambasted anti To’eiva activists on Wednesday, calling them “a band of disgusting, perverted and twisted bigots.”
“Enough of this disgusting and repulsive bigotry,” the pro to’eiva activist told a group of his fellow pro To’eiva activists on Wednesday at the annual “To’eiva for Deviants” convention. “It is time for congress to pass the “Respect for Deviants Act” now!”
The pro To’eiva activist also reminded his fellow activists that a mere $50 membership donation would entitle new members to a free T-shirt with the word “TO’EIVA” emblazoned on it in extra large letters.
The To’eiva T-shirts were reportedly sold out within minutes. However, several eye-witnesses allege they saw one “apparent pervert” – who purchased close to 100 memberships and T-shirts – promptly destroy all his To’eiva T-shirts on the spot, in “perverted fashion”, leaving a “disgusting” trail of To’eiva T-shirt shreds all over the area.

It’s amazing how the pervs take the words out of our mouths and use them against us. Like by them calling us ‘perverts’.
But we can learn from them. I hereby call to abolish the bigoted movement which discriminates against to’evaphobes (- that’s us). והמבין יבין.

Well, for all you know, he’s not a biologist. Which would put him in good company, such as that recently appointed ‘Justice’.

one still would want to know why it’s not chillul Hashem to support this guy

Governor Murphy, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Guys, I will tell you something now, in a few years you won’t be able to walk on the streets anymore. Why. Because a man is a woman, and a woman is a man!!!! The rest you can figure out yourself.

This garbage will never end.
