Gov. Murphy Comments on Mass Shooting in California

Governor Murphy this morning used a Mass Shooting in Monterey Park, California to highlight his stand on guns:

“When any community cannot gather to celebrate without fear of being the victim of the next mass shooting, we have lost our way. All of New Jersey stands firmly with the AAPI community in Monterey Park, California, and at home, with the families and friends of those killed or injured, and with the members of law enforcement working to find the shooter and bring them to justice. We cannot be a nation where such gun violence is tolerated and normalized.”

“We cannot be a nation where such gun violence is tolerated and normalized.” And so it is Gov. Murphy, that millions of law-abiding firearms owners would agree with you wholeheartedly on this, for we too do not tolerate or normalize mass murder! Your insinuation that we do is abhorrent. The solution is NOT to trample on the 2nd Amendment rights of folks (like me) who have done, and never will do anything harmful to anyone else with the firearms that we own. The solution is NOT to prevent law-abiding folks from defending themselves, their families and communities from the types of fanatical violence unleashed by the likes of Antifa, BLM, neo-Nazis and any other crazies, be they on the extreme left or right. Mr. Governor, your fanatical anti-2nd Amendment stance is a true danger to the lives of your constituents and to the survival of the republic against the forces of evil in the land.

Would Murphy be ok with it if the guy used a knife or a car or a bomb, why doesn’t he condemn all such violence instead of blaming the gun, blame the perpetrator not his tool, guns dont kill people, people do.

Happy Land Nightclub..
Intending to kill his ex-girlfriend, a man set fire to a NY social club March 25, 1990, POURING GASOLINE on the stairs and trapping people inside. 87 people died. An Evil human being killed those 87 people, not the gasoline!!!

Dems always try to take away from law abiding gun owners cause one its too much for them to understand and 2 they want all the control. They think money makes them powerful not there mind . Sorry that’s the truth

Murphy ‘won’ NJ by a whisker, the threat of gun grabbing will turn us red again 🙏 California’s gun restrictions, (like Chicago) do nothing to prevent crazies and criminals from access– and never will. Good citizens need to protect themselves and others WITH guns.

Democratic party playbook is, if a gun was used, blame guns, and if he is white, blame white supremacy too, if a gun wasn’t used, then if he is white, blame white supremacy and if he is a poc, just memory hole it.

This turns out to be Asian on Asian over a domestic dispute. IOW, not a “hate” crime. Domestic dispute, not domestic terrorist. Condolences to the families.
