The much talked about service, has arrived. Starting today, May 14, Cablevision’s high-speed Internet customers can take their laptop or iPhone and surf the Web at various public locations around its service territory in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The company has expanded its public wireless Internet access network to locations around 26 towns in Monmouth County and 10 areas and towns in Ocean County. The free service, only open to Cablevision customers who subscribe to Optimum Online, is at high-traffic locations, such as downtown, near parks or the shore areas around the two counties. In a deal with Comcast, Comcast and Cablevision customers also can use WiFi access points at NJ Transit train platforms and parking lots. “We are pleased to announce this considerable expansion of our Optimum WiFi coverage in New Jersey, including access at popular Shore points, as our market-wide deployment continues,” said Kevin Curran, Cablevision’s senior vice president of wireless product development.

i think its pretty funny that all BMG buildings have their own service.I guess the powerfull BMG lobby got something done!
Now the Bochurim wont have to go downtown, they can get internet service anywhere.
