JUST IN: PD and EMS have just responded to a home on W. Spruce Street for a report of a girl who shot herself. Police received the call from the girl’s mother who said she heard a gunshot and found her daughter with a gunshot wound in the chest. The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time. Police have requested the CIU to respond as well. As we post this. EMS is transporting the victim to nearby KMC.
