A Lakewood gas station attendant was allegedly sprayed in the face with a chemical and robbed of cash this evening, TLS has learned.
Sources say the suspect sprayed an oven cleaner chemical in the BP gas station attendant’s face at approximately 11 PM, and then robbed him of approximately $1,200 in cash. The suspect then fled on foot.
The victim was hospitalized.
The suspect is described as a bald white male, clean shaven, approximately 30-35 years of age, wearing a cream colored jacket and blue jeans.
A K9 dog is being called in to try and track the suspect.
