A cyclist is lucky to be alive after a frightening collision with a school bus on Route 9 in Lakewood.
The accident happened shortly after 5 PM at the intersection of Route 9 and Ocean Avenue.
The biker was luckily not seriously injured.

What the driver did to continue driving after the initial hit was extremely dangerous. The motorcyclist body could have been under the wheels.
So glad it ended well for all.

If northbound left turners at N. Lake are not blocked by selfish southbound drivers in a hurry to get to the red light at Central. It’s fair game for southbound speeders to cut them off.
Easy solution. Green left arrow northbound 9 at N. Lake coupled to full red southbound.
