  1. Can we please have a list of what’s included in the box this week? Especially since we’re getting close to pesach, it would really be helpful!

  2. To comment # 1. Why do you want to make extra work for the suppliers of the boxes? Chances are if it’s hametz, use it up outside your home or in a designated part of your home where you’ll permit the consumption of hametz. Sounds like a plan. Have a zeesun pesah.

    • I do not think the request was so unreasonable. The suppliers just have to type up the list once, and copy and paste it where ever it needs to be posted.

It would make a tremendous difference to the receivers to know if what is included in the box will help them, or actually make their lives a bit harder because now they have to work to get rid of it.

  3. To comment number 3: Do you mean make one list copy & multiple copies after that to paste on box after box after box? Respectfully, this sounds like unnecessary ancillary work for the supplier to me. Perhaps Lakewood mother should call ahead and find out what’s being packed up just in case she has concerns of bringing hametz into the house. So far, she’s the only one requesting a list content. Just wondering. Have a zeesun Pesah.

  4. Many people would appreciate knowing what is in the box in advance for various reasons (meal planning, allergy alerts, preparing adequate freezer space etc. etc.). She seems to be requesting that it be posted online one time or perhaps listed on a phone recording. No, she is not requesting that it be added to each box. In fact, she wants to know in advance so having it in the box would not be helpful.

  5. No, I meant post digitally, or on paper, wherever there is a notice that the boxes are being given out.

So, wherever they say “Boxes are available for pickup at…”, they can say “and the boxes contain…”

I did not mean on each individual box.

  6. To comment # 6: Thank you for your clarification of what you meant. Have a zeesun Pesah
To comment# 5: didn’t think of it that way. Have a zeesun Pesah.
