Four injured in accident on Lexington Avenue (PHOTOS)

Multiple people were injured, at least one seriously, in an accident on Lexington Avenue.

The accident occurred approximately 10 AM at the intersection of Carey Street and Lexington Avenue.

Hatzolah, EMS and Lakewood First Aid responded to the scene.

Four patients were hospitalized.

  1. To me, that does NOT look like impact at 25MPH which is the limit on Lexington, which nobody follows, in my experience of being honked at and tailgated. Carey is one of the most residential of streets in town with a lot of kids out of camp and not in school yet. Slow down. Oh, I forgot, you want to race me to the next red light. I hope everyone will be okay. “Serious injury” is usually long or short term life threatening or permanent impairment. Just a reminder, 90% of all traffic fatalities are caused by distracted drivers (phone and text) but 10% by driving while intoxicated.

  2. For your information they didn’t show the other side of the car. It’s smashed in from the black car running the stop sign. See stop assuming everything cause the whole truth is never told. My mom is 59 years old and she was on her way to church so how about y’all pay attention while your driving.
