Patients and visitors at Monmouth Medical Center this morning were pleasantly surprised to find fresh Four Corners breakfast and lunch waiting for them in the Bikur Cholim Kosher Pantries. Starting this week, Bikur Cholim volunteers will be bringing the fresh sponsored food to the MMC Pantries for patients and their family members.
The Breakfasts will be on the third floor in Stanley 304 and in the mother infant pavilion on the fifth floor.
“This Program is still in the early stages and will be expanded to Jersey Shore Hospital and Kimball Medical Center in the near future”, the Bikur Cholim volunteer coordinating this project says. TLS.

WOW!! My wife and I were just there and would have really enjoyed Four Corners breakfast.
One thing that I always noticed about Monmouth was that though Kimball had fresh hot food for shabbos and yom tov, on premises, they never did for the mothers who couldn’t leave the hospital.
This is really special of them, because during the week was not much better and unfortunately, people don’t have time to leave the hospital to go to local stores for food during emergencies.

In the last ad on succos it said that hot meals will be on shabos in all hospitals. I know some one that cooks for the hospitals evry other week , I think its a big chesed
