The Bachur that went missing on Motzei Shabbos has been located moments ago safely. A search coordinator tells TLS that at about 4 AM, after dozens of volunteers and emergency personnel searched grids for hours, the search was called off and was to continue at sunrise.
At about 6 AM this morning, a girl spotted the boy walking on 14th Street, and phoned police. He had reportedly been sleeping in a Shul prior.
The following was sent to TLS at approximately 5 AM by a volunteer who assisted in the search:
”It’s 4:30 am I’m returning from the command center located at the Hatzolah garage, where approximately 100 volunteers are still here and were told to head home and return at 7:00 am to resume the search. מי כעמך ישראל!! We have Hatzolah, Chaveirim, LCSW, Bikur Cholim, and numerous unaffiliated volunteers. I asked one volunteer “how come you turned out?” To which he responded, “how can I go to sleep knowing someone may be in danger?”It’s a huge kiddush hashem seeing all the organizations working hand in hand. Hopefully by the time you read this the boy will have been found. Good night.”

Why weren’t the shuls searched or were they…. More troubling how come the bochur didn’t communicate his whereabouts somebody was worried about him…?
Major thanks to all who came out to search, you should all be proud!
#1 pls respect the privacy of the subject. Once the party is located everyone pls stop snooping around.
#2 140 shuls where on the list, and all came back negative… They were checked numerous times.
Good job on finding them nomi gallie and Shlomo klapper
To JBW – ur a smart guy, u tell me, why didnt he communicate ? Why, indeed ? Can u think of a reason ?! If not, u need to volunteer 1 day, just for a few hrs at either SCHI, The Center or the like. Maybe u should come to the Jog-A-thon. It might teach u a thing or 2.
Every Shuls rav & Gabai should be contacted immediately when this happens. This could avoid alot of wasted time and energy.
I daven in Satmar all the time Not a word or hint of this was noted.
