Former President Donald Trump says he has been indicted by a federal grand jury after a months long investigation into his handling of classified documents after leaving office.
In a statement posted to Truth Social account, the former president confirmed the news and maintained his innocence, while describing the investigation as a “Hoax.”
“The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax,” adding that he is “INNOCENT.”
“This is indeed a DARK DAY for the United States of America” We are a Country in serious and rapid Decline, but together we will Make America Great Again!”
In an unprecedented move, Trump’s home at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, was raided last August by FBI agents searching for classified documents.
“This is indeed a DARK DAY for the United States of America,” Trump added in his statement.
“We are a Country in serious and rapid Decline, but together we will Make America Great Again!”
The former president, who is also currently the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican nomination for president, has been summoned to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami on Tuesday, at 3pm EST.

Enough is enough? Are you insane? If they, aka DEEP STATE, succeed to take down Trump, they will be able to take down any other GOP candidate in a snap! They will do whatever it takes to hold on to their power now that they have been exposed.

Trump Charged with Leaking Whereabouts of Biden’s Garage docs, says DOJ Official
The DOJ’s recent indictment of Donald Trump includes charges that the former President has been endlessly leaking the whereabouts of thousands of classified documents that President Biden has been hoarding in various locations around the country, a senior DOJ spokesman revealed to reporters on Thursday.
“Not a day goes by without Trump whining and telling everyone about the classified docs that President Biden is hiding in his garage, or the ones he is hiding in China Town, or the ones he’s hiding in the University of Delaware, or the one’s he’s hiding in the University of Pennsylvania, and the list goes on and on,” the DOJ official said.
“And while the whereabouts of Biden’s hoarded documents are already well-known to the public,” the DOJ official said, “nevertheless, when a former President confirms the whereabouts of these docs, it gives foreign spies every reason to believe that when they break into Biden’s garage, they’ll definitely find the documents just sitting there for all to see.”
“I’m sorry to say this,” the DOJ official said, “but Donald Trump makes the most egregious leaker look like an angel!”
During a White House press conference on Thursday, President Biden insisted that he has no involvement in the DOJ’s indictment of Trump.
“The DOJ works independently of the White House,” Mr. Biden said, “but I certainly agree with the DOJ’s assertion that Trump should serve maximum time in solitary confinement for discussing the whereabouts of my garage docs in public.”
“I can’t tell you how many times over the last few months, my garage has been broken into by foreign thieves,” the President said. “Ultimately, when Trump leaks the location of my garage docs, he is not only placing these highly sensitive documents in jeopardy, he is also placing my lawn mower, my snow plow and my spare tires in jeopardy.”
When asked if he believes that a garage is a safe place to keep classified documents, Mr. Biden insisted: “A garage is the safest place to keep classified documents, because who in their right mind would ever dream that someone in my position would keep classified documents in a garage?!”
When asked why he retained the classified documents, Mr. Biden explained: “Because I need to keep track of all the personal foreign business deals I’ve made while serving as VP – and the only record I have of those transactions are in those documents…, and maybe in my son’s laptop too.”
