A former Lakewood Police Captain was laid to rest on Friday. Brent Braisted, a lifelong resident of Lakewood, died last week at the age of 91.

Prior to retiring, he worked for the Lakewood Police Department for 30 years and rose through the ranks to become a Captain. He was an investigative photographer, and often took photographs for the Lakewood Police Department.

Following the funeral services at D’Elia’s, the procession made its way to the cemetery on Clifton Avenue, where he was laid to rest.
