  4. Yes, Mario was a former officer of the LPD, a Firefighter and a friend.

Please take time to remember that he is also the father of 2 very awesome boys and a husband of one of our LEMS employee’s.
We may have lost a friend, but these young gentlemen have lost their father.
Please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers.

  5. what a tragedy! A hero is taken in his prime! May the family find solace and peace in the legacy he left behind and the countless lives he touched. RIP

  6. To Mario, my second son. I am heart broken, and the pain won’t go away. All that knew you will have an empty spot in our life. The facts are you were a genius, and tackled anything in front of you. I personally know this as a fact. We will continue in life and hopefully the pain will go away, but missing you will never go away. I hope you are at peace, watch over us, till we meet again. God Bless You and your family.

  7. Mario, you were a kind, compassionate, and brave man. We will all miss you. May your family find comfort in the fact that they were blessed with such a wonderful family leader, a role model to be emulated through the generations. RIP.

  8. Mario you will be so missed. You were my mentor and friend. I will never forget the lessons taught about solving problems and the late nights fixing cars. We are only on this planet for a short time you definitely made an impact. Your legacy will live on in all that you taught me for if you never gave me the opportunity so many years ago I would not be the person I am today. Rest in peace brother. We will take it from here.

  11. Started out as my boss, & ended up being a great friend who I will NEVER forget. He’s with his father now (possibly givin’ him hell, or kicked back relaxing, soaking up some “Father moments” & swapping stories. No one’s perfect. But if you knew him, you’d know he had a good heart with good intentions. Now he can finally REST in PEACE.
    I feel he deserves it.
    ♡ Love ALWAYS! ♡

  12. Mario, You will be missed by all. You were a good friend to everyone. You knew how to make everyone laugh. If you were around we all knew we were going to have a good time. So many of my best times in the fire department were with you. We worked hard and played hard. Until we meet again…Rest in Peace
