Former Deptuty Chief John Marshall Laid To Rest Today

LPD small LPDJohn Marshall, a former Deputy Chief in Lakewood, was laid to rest today after a funeral service attended by family and friends. John, of Fruitland, who retired from the LPD ten years ago, died last Friday at the age of 75. May he rest in peace.

    chief Marshal was lakewoods most admirable high ranking officer ever.
    he had and showed great respect and patience to everyone.
    i never saw him get angry nor would he lose his cool, especially when he had to tolerate his colleagues lack of competence .
    all those officers who were fortuned to have known him shall remember him and use him as a role model.
    he was worthy of his honor, and has long earned his respect.

    may his memories be blessed and cherished in the heart of the Lakewood PD and community.
