The Lakewood Board of Education will once again be distributing free food boxes to children under the age of 18 today.
The distribution will take place, as always, at the Clifton Avenue Grade School and Lakewood Middle School from 2:45 PM to 5 PM.
Please note that anyone picking up boxes must bring a form with them. The form can be found and downloaded here.
Who is eligible? Can u take for kids receiving lunch in school?
I would appreciate knowing what is in the boxes. My daughter’s school lets us know exactly what they are giving so we know if we should wait on line or not. Also it would really be helpful if they would distribute the boxes at one more location. People are busy and it is not ethical to make people wait on line for food for such a long time when it is easy to set up one more pickup location, as they used to have on Lanes MIll Rd by East County line.
Fully agree!
the line is only so long because people show up to the sites a couple hours early so they are backed up even before the start giving it out
