Rob Lawson, Lakewood’s former Police Chief, will be joining the security team at Beth Medrash Govoah, TLS has learned.
Lawson, who reached the mandatory retirement age at the Lakewood Police Department, retired this month following an illustrious 35-year career with the Department.
In his new position, the Chief will be the provide security analysis, event directing and coordinating, says Moshe Glieberman, BMG’s VP of Administration.
“Chief Lawson brings many years of professionalism and experience and we look forward to him joining our team,” Glieberman tells TLS.
The BMG security team also consists of armed guards who patrol the BMG campuses and surrounding streets.

Chief Lawson was a great police officer coming up through the ranks of the Lakewood Police Department, a great police chief and is a great person. There could be no better addition to the BMG security team.
