eh! DUH!!! When else? Like hello???? What are we waiting for? Why in september? Why not like all other states do it, on July 4th? It’s not fair! I was so sad!!!
Ask local businesses for donations to off-set the cost. I will not attend Labor day fireworks…….
While we are on the subject the private schools have a whole year to consider keeping the kids home so all may enjoy a day off. There is a reason there is no transportation…keeping the schools open only clog the streets with traffic from car pooling and unnecessary stress…cut a day off winter break to allow for this. It could be worked out.
I’ve been hearing fireworks daily since the end of last week. Some were extremely loud, scaring my children, and not allowing them to fall asleep. Does anyone know where all these fireworks are coming from?
I never knew that the Township was so conscious about spending 10K that can be avoided. They overspend in the MILLIONS every year without a blink for some reason we all pay heavy tax bills, half of it that goes towards public schools but we send to private schools WHERES ALL THAT MONEY????? SHOW US TAXPAYERS WHERE “OUR” MONEY GOES!!!!!
Either on the 4th or skip it this year dont waste money by doing it on Labor Day weekend. Take a vote on it you will see most people will say the same.
From what I understand it was no longer an option to have the fireworks on July 4th. Other towns had already booked the company that puts on the fireworks show.

You want fireworkd? Why not just schedule the next Board of Ed meeting at the lake?
My guess as to why the 4th costs more is because police, government employees, etc… would be paid a holiday rate for working on the holiday. Maybe the fireworks company also charges more for July 4th.
