Firefighters today battled two structure fires within Howell Township.
The first one broke out approximately 8:30 AM in the Freewood acres area, and the second one broke out on Roosevelt Drive at approximately 11 AM.
Mutual aid was called in from Lakewood and Jackson to assist in battling the fires.
No injuries were reported in either incidents, which left the homes with serious damage.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fires.
