Fire Rips Through Howell Home [PHOTOS]

A fire ripped through a Howell home last night.

Just before midnight, Howell Police Communications received calls for a confirmed structure fire in the area of Route 9 and Shady Lane.

They dispatched a full response from the Southard Fire Department, Freewood Acres Fire Company No. 1, and several mutual aid partners.

Upon arrival, firefighters came upon a working structure fire.

The fire was brought under control a short time later.

The incident is under investigation from the Howell Township Fire Bureau. Howell Township Police Department and Howell Police EMS also assisted on scene.
