#1 are you out of your mind.

What if it was your house on fire,
your parents house, on fire
your sisters house, on fire
your brothers house on fire

maybe you might want only The old horse drawn hose carts to come to fight those fires.

These brave men and women leave there families, there jobs, to go fight a fire and you mock them.

They are VOLUMTEERS who would do anything for you if there was a fire and all you do is complain.

Who new there was no real fire. they don’t know, so THANK G-D there was so many responders.

GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF GROUND AND THINK BEFORE YOUR WRITE, and what your should say is

THANK YOU.

“What said”

I think there was two fires going at the same time.

Not a good thing to bash the volunteers it that was your plan.

If you have questions about the operation and amount of equipment/ buildings, contact the fire commissioners. Planning for the future is very important especially when growth is predicted at 250,000 people.
When this happens and it will, the fire dept is ahead of the growth to better serve the city.

Please support these brave folks who serve and protect Lakewood

#2 – I got three jobs for u tonight. (1) calm down. (2) curb your tongue (3) learn how to spell. Post #1 was merely pointing out that there were a lot of fire aparatus on scene and not was in anyway being critical of LFD. I’m sure he joins me in saluting our very own brave firefighters.

To #9, because anyone with basic journalism skills doesn’t write a headline like this. What wall? Whose wall? At first glance I also thought Wall Township, that is the implication.

the TLS editor has basic journalism skills and is a nice guy who is humble enough to post your comment which implies that he lacks basic journalism skills, even though heshould win a pulitzer for his coverage of the election campaign

1, I’m very calm. but when I see comments like #1 my blood boils. you and I know that he was complaining about the LFD and not Thanking Them.

2. Stupid is not a bad word. I have seen worse coming from boys walking the street.

3. before you say anything about my spelling check what you wrote

“and not was in anyway” I think you wanted to say was “and WAS NOT in anyway.

have a good night & hope those brave men & women don’t have to be woken up in the middle of the night to go fight another fire.

Thank You LFD

and had it not been contained quickly by the LFD it could have been a large fire which we probably wouldn’t have had a enough firefighters to handle and would have had to request mutual aid from Howell, so never complain about too many volunteers, because you can never have too many……….as a matter of fact we need more volunteers so if anyone is interested please contact your local fire station about joining, help us help Lakewood
