A fire ripped through a Lakewood home this morning.
As first reported on TLS Status, the broke out at a home on Lakeview Place, off River Avenue in Lakewood.
The blaze, which occurred shortly before noon, caused significant damage to the residence.
No injuries were reported.
The Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
River Avenue remains closed between John Street and Pine Street while crews continue their work.
UPDATE: Officials tell TLS the fire is deemed suspicious, and is under investigation. Five people were displaced as a result of the fire.
