Home Fire Draws Large Response From Fire Department

PHOTOS & VIDEO: [UPDATED 6:30PM] The fire department hit out a General Alarm for a home fire on Medina Road a short time ago. Officials say the fire appears to have started from a furnace and quickly spread throughout the first floor and attic.

Multiple fire companies responded to the scene.

The Herbertsville Fire Department as well as EMS and Lakewood First Aid also responded.

The fire was brought under control about 20 minutes later.

There were no reports of injuries.

  1. All available Lakewood Firefighters (including commissioners who are firefighters) were on scene at the fire..Don’t make this about the commissioners, its about the firefighters doing their jobs. Enough about the Fire Commissioners..Let it go already.
