Fire Department Begins Fire Prevention Summer Presentations

PHOTOS: The Lakewood Fire Department today began their Summer fire safety presentations for Lakewood’s children. The presentations provide safety tips from firefighters and give children an opportunity to view the squad’s fire trucks and various pieces of emergency equipment.

Presentations will be held each Tuesday and Thursday, between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM, throughout the month of August.

All presentations are held at Station 64, located on Monmouth Avenue and 1st Street. No appointments are necessary.

Why thank them. I don’t think anyone actually appreciates the firefighters until it happens to them…then you get the unconditional thanks from everyone involved

Wow how nice of these volunteer firefighters to take the time oitnof there day to stand in the heat and give these presentations!
