Smoke Condition at Lakewood Matzoh Bakery; Statement [VIDEO]

The fire department responded to the Lakewood Matzoh Bakery this evening for a heavy smoke condition.

The incident occurred shortly after 10:00 PM on Prospect Street and was brought under control a short time later.

No injuries were reported, and the owners tell TLS there was B’H no damage. The business will continue to operate.

B”H that there was no injuries and also that Rabbi Davidowitz is able to continue making Matzos. I have known him for many years and I am truly relieved on his behalf that, on this particular occasion, “where there was smoke, there was no fire” (except in the oven).

Thanks also to the excellent fire fighting personnel and officials.
